Roulette Wheel
Las Vegas Roulette - Rules & Strategies

Roulette is one of the oldest of all games in the casino. It contains a wheel that has 38 numbers that alternate between red and black. It also contains 0 and 00, which are both colored green. When the wheel spins, the ball rotates and eventually lands on one of the numbers. A player can place bets on where they think the ball will land, including red or black, odds or even or a specific number. There are a variety of rules and strategies that a gambler should use when commencing to play roulette. Although this is a game of chance and there is no way that has been proven to win, there are methods that can be used to increase your odds.

First, a good tip for playing roulette in Las Vegas is to keep your bets in one place so that you do not bet against yourself. For example, don't play on 18, which is an even red number, and then also bet on odd numbers or black. Next, pay close attention to how you gamble. Betting just a few additional dollars can increase your winnings substantially. For example, a $5 bet might win $75, but a $20 bet could win you $700. The increased bet of just $15 could increase your winnings by an additional $525. Also, if you hit a winning streak, ride it out.

There are several betting strategies that can be used when playing the game of roulette in a Las Vegas casino. A gambler can bet on two numbers by putting a chip on the line between two numbers and get a payout of 17 to 1. Next, a player can bet on four numbers with a payout of 8 to 1. A gambler can also bet on three numbers with a payment of 11 to 1.

As the number of bets increase on a Las Vegas roulette wheel, payment goes down. When betting on five numbers the payout is 6 to 1. A bet on six numbers will pay 5 to 1. A gambler can bet on 12 numbers by putting a chip in the 2 to 1 space at the bottom of the table or by betting on the first 12 numbers, second 12 numbers or third 12 numbers. This bet pays 2 to 1. Finally, a player can bet on 18 numbers by placing a chip or either red or black or on odd or even. This bet pays 1 to 1.
